Fairview Road Church of Christ

A Family Growing People to the Glory of God

What's New at Fairview Road

  • W.N.F.T.M.

Wednesday Night for the Master is an outreach and encouragement ministry of the Fairview Road Church of Christ, that takes place in the summer months.  The purpose is to build relationships with people as we grow people to the glory of God.  We hope to encourage our members who are already “fighting the good fight” and also to share Christ with the lost.  There are a number of external ministry opportunities to meet these goals, including working at the Ronald McDonald House and helping at the Central Missouri Food Bank. Internal ministries, or those that serve our own members (but can also serve the community), are card writing, prayer, food preparation, kitchen cleanup, a class for kids and visitation, just to name a few. For more information, call the church office, or better yet, sign up to participate in a WNFTM ministry on Sunday morning.  Then just show up Wednesday night, and be edified while helping others!

  • Summer Sunday Morning Sermon Series

Eric will be presenting a summer sermon series entitled "Colossians: In the Overflow—Navigating Successfully Through The Cultural Chaos." This is sure to be an encouraging and spiritually uplifting experience. Please take time to read through the book of Colossians this summer, to help prepare for the Lord's message.

  • Summer Sunday and Wednesday Classes

New Sunday and Wednesday classes will be offered during the summer, including a study of Colossians (to coincide with the summer sermon series) and another study of Proverbs. Additionally, a singing class is being planned for Wednesday nights. For more details, click on the bible classes link or contact the church office.

  • Summer Mission Works

A Hurricane Katrina Reconstruction mission trip is planned for July 22–26, 2007. Fairview members and others will be traveling to the city of New Orleans to help those who continue to be affected by the hurricane's devastation. For more information on how you can participate or contribute, contact the church office.
